Crib Tool Repair

About Us
Crib Tool Repair got its start back in June 1979 in Rexdale, Ontario, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our founder, William Campbell. At the time, William was working for L.S. Starrett Co., a precision tool company, and noticed that most tools had to be shipped back to the U.S. for repairs. Seeing a real need for local service, he took the initiative to train in Athol, Massachusetts, and brought those skills back home.
While starting Crib Tool Repair, William also worked as a computer technician at National Cash Register, repairing large mainframe computers. For five years, he put in long days—running Crib Tool Repair from early morning until mid-afternoon, then heading to NCR until late at night. His dedication and passion laid the foundation for the business we’re proud to continue today: providing reliable, high-quality tool repair with a personal touch.
